Team members can cancel an existing holiday entry on MyView, by following these steps:
- Log onto MyView
- Select the Attendance menu from the left hand panel
- Select the Weekly View submenu from the left hand panel
- Search for the holiday entry that needs to be cancelled
- If the required date is on a different week to that displayed, update the Week Ending date or use the calendar to select
- Alternatively use the blue Previous or Next icons on the far left/far right of the screen to scroll back/forward a week at a time
- Right-click on the existing holiday entry that needs to be cancelled and select the Delete option
- Press Submit on the Delete Holiday Request window to send your request through to your Manager
- Once your Manager approves the Delete Holiday Request your holiday will be cancelled and removed from MyView
Note, this cancels all the dates that were submitted within the original holiday booking range.
Managers deleting holidays on a team member's behalf
As the team member’s manager you are able to cancel existing holiday bookings on their behalf, by following these steps:
- Log onto MyView
- Select the My People tab from the left hand panel
- Select the Attendance menu from the left hand panel
- Select the Weekly View submenu from the left hand panel
- Select the team member that you wish to cancel the holiday for
- Search for the holiday entry that needs to be cancelled
- If the required date is on a different week to that displayed, update the Week Ending date/use the calendar
- or alternatively use the blue Previous or Next icons on the far left/far right of the screen to scroll back/forward a week at a time
- Right-click on the existing holiday entry that needs to be cancelled and select the Delete.option
- Press Submit on the Delete Holiday Request window to confirm the deletion request
